b5 is stable again. Actually it's a lot more comprehensible because only
the core is left and everything that maven does now is a self-contained
plugin. The transition was bumpy but it's been finished now.

The docs are coming. I would stay away from b5 unless you're willing to
figure things out for yourself or look at a project that is using b5.
There are lots of them: turbine projects have b5 descriptors,
commons-betwixt, commons-jelly.
