Hi,
I suppose you have the directories "src/webapps" and
"src/webapps/${war.name}", because otherwise the j2ee plugin would give
you an error message to do so.
Now add "WEB-INF/conf" under "src/webapps/${war.name}" and put all the
files you want to into this dir. maven will add all content under
"src/webapps/${war.name}" to the final war file. This means your files
appear under "WEB-INF/conf" in the war file.
