You can set
maven.scp.executable = pscp
maven.ssh.executable = plink
to use PuTTY etc (thats what I have done)
I have also hacked the deploy plugin to use -pw so you can use the password
with plink / pscp.
I am not sure this was the right thing to do (perhaps there is another way
of using them - Im no ssh expert)
Currently, the site:deploy task in CVS (which doesnt use the deploy plugin)
has two sshdeploy and fsdeploy targets no reason why a ftpdeploy target
cannot be supported by the same plugin
You just set a property :
maven.site.deploy.method = ssh
then to choose which deploy method you want
