Hi,
Would it be possible to add a prefix to mails sent on this mailing list,
like Jira does? It would greatly help my inbox organisation if all maven
related mails had their subject prefixed by [maven-user] or similar!
Hi,
On the same idea, it would be really nice if people get used to prefix plugin-related mails with [pluginname], like in the commons. We now have *many* plugins, and it starts to be hard to keep a track of which mail concerns which plugin, and reading every message is time-consuming. For the commons, I created a filter for Jelly, so that they are separated from the rest of the commons (which I don't watch as closely as Jelly). Till now, this worked quite well ... (I might miss some messages, but I consider that if people don't prefix the project in the commons, then they are not too used to the commons, and it may interest me less than the prefixed ones...) My intention is to prefix all the projects in the commons. It makes me think that I could commit my Mozilla rules.dat somewhere (jakarta-site2 in the "Mailing Lists" section, maybe?) so that people can filter all the Jakarta projects easily ... My 2 eurocents (~ 2 US cents, which is quite handy btw) Stphane ___________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? -- Une adresse @yahoo.fr gratuite et en franais ! Yahoo!
