Hi Aslak, > James mentions in his blog today > (http://radio.weblogs.com/0112098/2002/12/02.html) that there > is a JavaCC > plugin for Maven. Is that true? Where is it?
mhm. Maybe James knows somehow how written such a plugin but it's not in CVS and not submitted to JIRA. Of coures such a plugin would not hard to write because Ant have JavaCC and JJTree task's build into the optional.jar. So we are able to resue them, adding a new properties e.g. maven.javacc.src.dir etc in order to build a resuable plugin. The antlr plugin is based on jelly which supports antrl directly. So another solution would be to integrate it into jelly tags.... My question to you might be a little off topic but: Which Parser Generator would you recommend: antlr or javacc? I see some Jakarta projects using javacc (POI) and other seems to use antrl (maven tasklist??!!?) ??? which is better?
