and a slight gripe ;-). The status page (http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/maven/status.html ) doesn't really give me the status of the project. Sure, it tells me where things are with the previous version, but what I'm interested in is the current version, and the status page only has the small blurb - we are currently working on 1.0b8.
I monitor both lists, but when I want to make a release or recommend Maven, I have to scour the lists to see what's going on. Even then I can't see everything (ie - things that happen on IRC). I know that everyone is busy (believe me I know!) and it might be difficult and maybe unnecessary to update the status page, but I have a possibillity. Maybe Bob or someone else could setup a Maven blog, that would get updated periodically from the developers (Jason and/or others) stating what the current issues are with the release, what is waiting to be done, etc. Please take this as constructive criticism, I really enjoy using Maven and advocating it's use. -warner +warner onstine+ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
