Unless it has been cleaned out. Consider
% maven jar:install clean war:webapp
which is actually the live build sequence for our application. First I
build the jars from the sources and then install them into my local
repository. Then I build the standalone application which has some
subtle different requirements (fun with preGoal="war:init" and
preGoal="java:compile") for the setup so I have to clean up the
existing target tree before doing so.
If you use the "attain every goal only once per session", this no
longer works. Cool, you just broke our build process.
