My question is really about the repository element in project.xml and maven's use of it in the activity goal. I completely understand cvs and cvspass tasks in ant, but I don't see how to tell maven to use a 'passfile' when it generates activity reports.
Ideally you should be able to specify a passfile inside the repository tags in project.xml, or at least be able to write a .cvspass somewhere that maven will use it by default. However, that is either not possible, not possible using the cvs.exe in WinCVS, or I just don't know where to put the .cvspass file/or how to tell maven where I have put it. Maybe it is possible that I can use the cvs ant task and override some specific maven goal to get the effect i need (i.e. the ability to create activity reports from my password protected CVS). -----Original Message----- From: Lester Ward [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 03 February 2003 14:23 To: 'Turbine Maven Users List' Subject: RE: Activity Report : Password for CVS > I had tried the cvspass ant task, in a pre goal for activity, > I am writing to .cvspass in the root of my project. All of this can be found in the Ant manual (http://ant.apache.org/manual/). --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] CONFIDENTIAL: This e-mail, including its contents and attachments, if any, are confidential.
