Hi Jrgen,

That is pretty much the same as I have, but I have not tried to run it yet
as I need to add some code to retrieve the enw service from within an action
and make use of it there. I will get to the point of running it on Sunday I
think. I also have the Plexus Avalonised Scheduler component and that is
what I am attempting to use from within an Action subclass.

I assume I use
TurbineAvalonComponentService tacs =
(TurbineAvalonComponentService)TurbineServices.getInstance().getService("Ava
lonComponentService");

also that I don't need to call init() as the earlyInit setting will have
done it for me.

and that I use
Component scheduler =
tacs.lookup("org.codehaus.plexus.scheduler.Scheduler");

to retrieve the Component.

We shall see how it goes. I wonder if you have to do the same thing
somewhere for the Torque component.

Regards,

David
