I am a Turbine newbie, have compiled and accessed newapp at http://localhost:8080/newapp/servlet/newapp
When that page is displayed, I am redirected to:
http://localhost:8080/newapp/servlet/newapp/template/Insert.vm/ redirected/true
which displays a banner "Turbine Data Manager", some navigation options on the left, and nothing else.
To the right of "Insert Entry" is the word "Error".
Selecting any of the navigation items cause an identical page to be loaded, with a different URL, ie. selecting "Users" redirects to:
http://localhost:8080/newapp/servlet/newapp/template/ user%2CFluxUserList.vm/redirected/true
but the page look identical, complete with the word Error in the same position.
So, it's clear there's an error of some sort. It sure would be helpful if the error message gave some better idea of what failed.
Environment: OSX.33, TDK 1.0, TomCat 4.124, Ant 1.51.
I am on a crash evaluation effort to determine if I can use Turbine on a project, but fear my lack of depth and lack of safety nets will force me back to PHP. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
