Me too. I personally admit that susceptible to the sin of vanity. I
like seeing my name on code that is widely used. So yes, I would like
to keep them, too.

I'm not happy about this and would have liked to be asked whether I
agreee to this. I don't like to have anonymous code globs; it is nice
if you know who wrote what so you can ask the autohr if you suspect a
problem. Even big companies encourage their developers to keep their
names in the code.
