Trying to get started with Turbine + JSP or static pages

I have a fair sized legacy of JSP and static files that I would like to wrap in a Turbine based application. I would like to keep the navigation and so on but build the body of the content from the existing pages.

My main question is: What do the JSP have to stop doing to be used within turbine? Is the <html></html> going to upset things? Is there anything else I should remove?

Is it possible to use actions within JSP's?
