I contributed the fulcrum-commonsemail service and also updated the
Fulcrum website (will take a while to be visible though) ...
+) provides factory method for creating preconfigured
SimpleEmail,MultiPartEmail and HtmlEmail. The created email is fully
configured regarding mail server settings, authentication and email headers
+) provide diagnostic features such as TransportListeners, mail.debug
and dumping of emails
+) support for multiple configurations and SMTP servers using a
domain-based configuration
+) can be easily extended to provide email signature and archiving based
on application hooks
+) it currently depends on a non-official
commons-email-20050601.114714.jar which is found in the Turbine repo
(http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/repo/)
+) the fulcrum-commonsemail-1.0.0.jar is also found in the Turbine repo
