Having previously developed one Turbine-based application - I used Turbine to create a Citation Machine and Bibliography Search tool for students. In addition to the standard db/servlet/html environment, studentabc.com uses: - Velocity-generated javascript (see http://www.studentabc.com/mla_format for example), and - XML-organized business processes (the Citation Machine relies on XML definitions for both interface and formatting definition: http://www.studentabc.com/builder ) - Java filter based http redirect to keep URLs short and sweet Java, Turbine and Maven technologies provided the robust, efficient, organized and integrated development environment necessary to create this site.
