As someone who is just starting to contribute documents and not having 
any familiarity with *any* wiki syntax, I don't really care what markup 
is used.  BUT I've been having a hard time figuring out what markup 
works and what doesn't.  Does the docs site allow articles to be entered 
as either syntax?  Most of the formatting help pages on the docs site 
aren't *quite* correct.  For instance the help box displayed on the 
editing page, and the SyntaxReference.

Is someone aware of the inconsistencies or should I start documenting 
the problems I am finding?
