#971: widget browser's calendar -- display problems on Safari

the title of the calendar widget is black text on a black background. the
popups for the months, etc. are white on white. if you try to drag it by
the title bar, it just closes instead of moving.
I haven't tested it, but it may be like this in a live app, too.
