A simple idea would be to make something similar like the favicon used on
this trac but with a greenish background, matching the color scheme of the
quickstart templates.
For this favicon, I just used the gear image and resized it and put it on
a blue background. To do it properly, one should probably draw the gear
again to make it llook good at the tiny size.
