I'm more than happy to help with this project in general. I think the idea of a stream of processors working on a dataview object to provide default widgets, as well as to filter out fields (or add new ones) and override defaults as necessary is very exciting. We have a chance to offer something far more flexible than any of the other tools out there. And there are a number of places where I think I could use this right now if it worked. So, I'm pretty invested in keeping it simple enough that we can actually get something working very soon.
