I think is a great idea to work on the docs. I think one of the main problems with TG1 was (is?) poor documentation. I've developed an application using TG1 about 2 years ago and it was really painful. Now I have to make some changes to it (with the help of other people that don't know TG1) and I'm having some troubles with that. Unfortunately I don't know exactly what's wrong with TG1 documentation, maybe it's not well organized, or it's not extensive, or maybe it's too fragmented (because of the nature of TG1). Maybe the wiki doesn't work that great for documentation either (what's the status on Sphinx? Are you using it? I think it could make the documentation look a lot better, and can easy organization). But I think it would be great for TG2 if this problem is addressed sooner than later =) BTW, I didn't take a look at TG2 yet, so I don't know what's the current state of the documentation, but I just wanted to mention problems in TG1. > If anybody is willing to help out with the FormEncode docs, I would > really love the help, and Ian said at PloneConf that he'd be more than > willing to accept documentation help there.
