Hi all. I'm right in the path for Hurricane Irene (about 50 miles / 80km
west of New York City). I fully expect to lose power sometime during the
night, and do not expect to have it back until, at absolute earliest,
tomorrow night. It could be a couple of days.
I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do for it. Once I have power restored,
I'll let everybody know I'm back online. Until then, I'll be stuck using my
phone (assuming I can get *it* charged), and will try to post updates on
Google+. Catch you all on the flip side!
Oh, and don't worry about me. The area that I'm in is going to lose power
for a while. That's the only real personal risk to me. Trees are far enough
away that my house and car should be pretty undamaged, if not entirely. I'm
staying inside, so I won't even get wet. I've got books to read, so I won't
be overly bored. I'll be fine.
