Nope, didn't work on this yet.
It looks like it might be an issue related to crank and tg integration,
both TG and Crank try to handle the extension.

That would explain why http://localhost:8080/foo.some.html works while it
should have lead to a 404.
Because TG removes the ".html" then crank removes the ".some" and is left
with a /foo with .html being the extension for TG and .some being the
extension for crank. Crank doesn't actually use the extension at all, so
this doesn't have any side effect apart a weird behaviour when multiple
extensions are provided.

This should be fairly easy to fix, I'm going to write a test unit to show
the issue and fix it this evening on development branch, so we can include
it into 2.2.1
