As a user, I'm quite happy enough about how the lists are set up now. I enjoy seeing the development discussions. And as TG's api is undergoing rapid evolution, I think the closest possible association between users and developers is likely beneficial.
One thing that occurs to me for sometime in the future, though, would be a tg-tutor list. Something like the python-tutor list, where no one has to worry about whether their question might be considered "stupid" of not. Not that I have ever seen anyone on the current list treat anyone's question as "stupid". But there have been some questions I might have posted but didn't for fear of them being something I should already know. And a searchable tutor list can become a sort of self-generating FAQ.
Like I say, maybe something for the future. -Steve
