That thread was from way before I started using TG. That is why I suggested a Wiki page. I have read some of the old threads but there are a lot of them.
http://www.turbogears.org/community/contributing.html did point to http://www.python.org/peps/pep-0008.html A synopsis would be nice. There are a lot of new people joining and it never hurts to be clear. I doubt that I am the only lazy person that skims the documentation. :)
