i thought i saw somewhere that someone put together a set of classes to
do authentication..
i thought it was "identity" but i don't think that's it..
what i am looking for is something that will just check a username and
md5 password against a record in the database.. if there is a match, set
an environment variable..
its' not that big of a deal to build one, but i figured if someone else
had done it, it would probably be alot more robust than something i
would bang out to get one task done..
