Hi Sasha,
I think the easiest way is to download Quicktime Alternative that comes bundled (in the good sense, not the "spyware ridden crap") with Media Player Classic for windows. After installing, you just need to associate DivX files to QuickTime mime types (using the "QuickTime settings" link in your start menu). Has worked right for me even in Internet Explorer (although I just tried with IE to make sure it takes the settings).
Find QuickTime alternative here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm

Hello -- Probably the FAQ: how do I play the screencast encoded as DivX QT movie on Windows? QT player does not recognize the format and DivX just sells a lot of stuff, without showing the movie. Was there any specific reason to encode it in DivX? Thanks, Sasha
