Just a heads-up. I have just committed heavily refractored controllers.py. As always there is a possibility that I have inadvertently fouled something.
Besides the aesthetical changes positional and variable arguments should now be fully supported and functional (it's even possible to have validators on positional arguments), among others fixing #516.
