Hi, I am attempting to install Turbogears on Windows XP with Activestate activePython 2.4. I have Cheetah and CherryPy already installed.
I followed the download instructions and ran: ez_setup.py -f http://www.turbogears.org/download/index.html TurboGears Installation preceeded some way and then aborted with a conflict warning at CherryPy. The documentation is not explicit enough about what to do next. For instance, how do I use the -D option? Does it replace -f or is it used in conjunction with it? And do I now use EasyInstall as it says, or do I repeat ez_setup.py? By trial and error I have arrived at: easy_install -D http://www.turbogears.org/download/index.html TurboGears This gives an immediate error: Unexpected HTML page found at http://www.turbogears.org/download/index.html I am stuck now. Can anyone help? Thanks, Alan Shaw --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
