Okay, I fixed it myself. It seems I didn't install 0.9a4 at all, but installed 0.8.9 instead. The intructions on the download page: "http://www.turbogears.org/preview/download/nix.html"; are not correct. It says you should:
Run sudo python ez_setup.py -f http://www.turbogears.org/download/index.html --script-dir /usr/local/bin TurboGears while this should be: Run sudo python ez_setup.py -f http://www.turbogears.org/preview/download/index.html --script-dir /usr/local/bin TurboGears The windows page seems fine, but the mac page has the same problem. I've created a ticket in Trac about this.
