My impression is that there really is an issue here. (No doubt clouded by some actual DB config problems along the way.)
The first post in the thread looks remarkably much like a problem that was known and, I think, "resolved" back in October/November. tg-admin/SQLObject was trying to work with tables that didn't exist yet. I saw it under Linux. There was a discussion and some ideas on how to fix it. IIRC, at one point it was thought that it really needed to wait for SQLObject 0.8. But I've not had the problem since.
