I would say that TG_User as it is works just fine. For systems where
users are initially untrusted a verified field makes sense. If I were
writing an application that only had other people in my office working
with it I would not need a verified field, but would need extra fields
to handle user job/department/contact info, etc.

All that said some kind of a walkthrough for handling user registration
would not go amiss.
