Unfortunately, the code you patched didn't even exist in 0.9a1, so I can't even apply the changes manually.
I suppose I'll have a go at hacking forms.py myself. Honestly, I tried updating to 0.9a6, but it broke our app in so many places that, after half a day of fruitless debugging, I had to revert.
