Nope. I ran out of time and had to move on to other projects. Next
time I get a chance to work on it again though, I think I am going
to give this a shot instead:

... the FAQ has some notes about how to make it work with eggs and
setuptools. Kevin has been able to get TurboGears working with py2exe
and py2app as well, but he has described his solution as a hack, which
may or may not suit you.
