I've updated the post to include the background that is obviously,
well, non-obvious. The whole light saber thing was more-or-less
decided months ago, so it had ceased to stick in my mind....

I think that's your browser scaling. I used Photoshop which does a
good job of scaling, but the WordPress editor makes it strangely
non-trivial to display an image at its original size. I just updated
the HTML to specifically have the correct size.
