I have tried this, bit didn't work for some reason. I moved on with my solution so I can't remember the reason. I have played with the widget system a long time now, but I think I still don't understand it :-) Especially creating new deep nested widgets structures have been a pain. I'm giving up and doing more with templates. What I was trying to do was a abstract generic widget layout for my site. I wanted to build my site completly out of widgets defined in the controllers, without tempering any page specific template. But it seems the widget system (or my understanding of it :-) ) is not mature enough for this yet. Nethertheless thanks for the great work, TG is the only framework I know of that has such a system, and it works perfectly for simple structures. -- Greg --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
