I didn't mean to attack you personally, I'm terribly sorry if my
inability to accurately express myself in my second tongue made it
come out that way. I humbly apologize if you felt alluded by my
mistaken comment.

I absolutely agree with you. Although playing with this toy can be
fun sometimes, the +15 apps I already deployed with it are suffering
from a lack of seriousness and childish giggling. Constantly playing
jokes on me and refusing to work as expected when carried away by
their puber whims. I suspect it has something to do with the toyish
DB backend they're using... Postgrass I believe it was called. On a
tangent line, would you recommend me switching to something more
serious? Oraculus perhaps. (note to readers: that last line
technically makes me stay on-topic, don't come telling me to stop
feeding birds :-P )

Regarding TG's lack of seriousness, I'm pretty sure it could be
easily fixed once we find a serious BDFL (or SDFS, or whatever... as
long as there's a D in it) which sets us lambs in the correct path.
I'm glad you're willing to share your vast experience in the matter
(along with some needed funding from Lazaridis Inc., perhaps?) to
help TG become *the* power-toy, power-tool or even power-ranger.

Many thanks in advance and, please, be patient with us. Something
tells me there's a genuine desire to wake up in the TG community but,
I'm sure you already know, the typical first reaction when faced with
superior personalities is an irrational denial by the inferior beings
(which proves the superiority). This can usually be cured (with
patience, discipline and a leather whip) so, please, don't give up.
We need you.

Sincerely,
Alberto

P.S: May I end my posts with a link to your site too? I'm dazzled by
the professionalism they transmit, too bad spammers have already
copied the technique... Nevermind, intelligent people can discern
spam from eggs.

P.P.S Why not post a link to a public forum, hosted at Lazaridis,
where we can all continue this constructive conversation? I believe
this list is not serious enough for it.
