The docs site is only about 1mb from my tests, probably the best trick would be for whoever controls the docs site to cron a static representation of it under /static or something, using MoinMoin/ scripts/moin_dump.py or equivalent. Then anyone who wants to can run wget --wait 2 -m http://docs.turbogears.org/static/ to get a copy. Might be some problems with the CSS/layout stuff. Unsure, but at least you'd have the information.
