IMHO Dejavu has the most expressive query system in the ORM world. Expressivenes leads to optimal querys; this speeds up the web application.
In addition Dejavu seems to be the fastest ORM out there; at least that is what the benchmarks shows. Adding Dejavu gives the end user more storage backends to choose from; that is more flexibility for TurboGears. Given that Dejavu integrates quite well following the SQLObject implementation, for example it reuses the well known PackageHub infraestructure, an accustomed SQLObject user will find quite easy to use Dejavu if he or she feels the need to do so. In short adding Dejavu will make TurboGears even more powerfull.
