There are a lot of tags in master.html that support rendering that
page directly.  This is an example:

<meta content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" http-equiv="content-type"
py:replace="''" />

My personal opinion is that these tags are more hassle than they are
worth.  They are distractions when I go in to edit the master files.
I find XPath and Genshi tricky as it is without having to keep track
of the tags that are only there for a purpose that is useless to me.

If the vast majority of other TG users agree that these things just
add noise, should we consider pulling them out of the quickstarted
templates?
