I agree with you, but I think that new users will probably feel more comfortable with being able to use pypi, this would also enable "python setup.py develop" inside a project to install the full TG stack without issues. That is the reason why I think that setting the precise version number inside requirements of the TurboGears package would make life easier for new users. They can even avoid reading the install guide at all and go with a plain "easy_install tg.devtools" having a working environment which probably would be perceived as a good thing by people that just want to give a try to the framework. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
