I did patch some tw.dynforms widget for my projects and was told "it would be better to keep that patch in my projects"...

I believe manual patching is always a bad idea ; that's why I was asking to TG users if they were using TW or other stuff.

Thanks for your reply.

Tw2 is preparing for stable status, in a few days there should be a

The fact that is beta status doesn't mean that is currently not
usable, as far as I have been able to see the project is working quite
well even thought some API changes happen now and then.

One of the targets set for 2.2 release during the last TG meeting has
been to switch to TW2 as the default widgets set in newly quickstarted
projects.

So I think that the answer to your question might be that you can keep
using TW1 for long term projects while experimenting with TW2 on
secondary or personal projects. As soon as 2.2 will be out you will be
able to rely on TW2 even for long term projects.

Hi all,

I uses for years the tw.forms package for almost all forms in my web
applications, using also tw.dynforms where I founded some bugs.

It seems that tw is not really supported anymore (I mean... is dying gently,
replaced by tw2), but tw2 is not yet stable.

My question is: which package do you use for all form/widget stuff in your
web applications?
