Do you mean not using full screen mode, but maximizing the window instead? I've not been able to get the scrollbars to go away while in full screen mode. Automatic resizing is not preferred because of loss of work state due to windows shifting around. Because I work simultaneously on so many projects, where windows are placed relative to each other matters. It is something I could try to get used to.
