Hi,
1) I downloaded the core-samples.zip and unzipped it locally. Starting with
an empty local maven repo, I'm seeing the following error:

Adding the apache repos to the pom.xml, the problem is gone.
We don't have a top-down build and it's not consitent. Running mvn install
from /core-samples will build common but not others.
I found there're a SCDL named as "autowire.default.scdl" in the
"calculator-2.0-alpha-incubating.composite", what's it used for?
2) The version id of 2.0-alpha is confusing as a successor of M1 and M2.
3) The readme.txt is not clear on what <yourComposite> is for the usage of
"$ java -jar bin/launcher.jar <yourComposite> [args ...]".
Running "java -jar bin/launcher.jar" giving the following message:
usage: java [jvm-options] -jar launcher.jar <componentJar> [apparg1,
apparg2, ...]
I was confused by the fact that common module produces a .composite while
calc produces a .jar.
I would like to see these issues resolved before we release them.

Please review and then vote on whether we should release them.
These are dependent on the vote for the sca-api's. Also, the JXTA module
which had a problematic dependency on Bouncy Castle is not included in
these releases.
