Hello, and thanks for the feedback. From the SDO perspective ...... <snip/>
- I don't currently see any support in the XSD2JavaGenerator for specifying the package name of any imported namespace in a schema. You can specify the package name for the schema you are currently generating objects for, but references to classes generated from imported schemas will be broken.
This is JIRA http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-1233 and I'd like to see it fixed soon. I'd like to see this fixed soon, for inclusion in a next release. Anyone up for taking a shot at that one? - substitution group support seems to be a little broken in
XSD2JavaGenerator when you are substituting for types defined in a schema imported from another namespace. The PackageImpl class generated from the imported schema seems to be missing the necessary fields and causes compile errors.
There doesn't seem to be a JIRA for that specific issue, but things have changed quite a bit, because the trunk code for the generator hasn't been creating PackageImpl classes for some time now. I guess you are using the M2 distribution. Would you be able to investigate whether this issue remains the same with either the new beta1 distribution or code from the trunk? If it is, and you could open a JIRA and attach your schemas, that would be great. <snip/> Regards, Kelvin.
