Can we include the fix for TUSCANY-2175 in 1.2?

I committed fixes for annoying issues with the plugin (TUSCANY-2175) in 
trunk SVN revision 643158.

It's a no risk fix so I'd like to merge it into the 1.2 branch if possible.
