I would imagine the Java runtime is OK on Solaris but from the thread title
I think you are asking specifically about the C++ runtime. As far as I know
we haven't tried the C++ runtime on Solaris. There may be issues but the
only real way is to try and see. I don't have a Solaris box here I could run
it up on unfortunately but we may find that someone else has tried it. Over
the last few months the C++ runtime has fallen behind the Java runtime as we
have pushed to get all the spec features into Java. What sort of binding and
implementation types are you looking to use?
