Thats Python! Since you are on this list I suspect you do write "code like that" Its just Guido removed the now extraneous {}...
My favorite, Allman style, is also Python if you remove the {} !
BTW, Steve McConnell recommends your favorite too in Code Complete. But he also didn't manage to convince me.
