On http://rur-ple.sourceforge.net/en/beepers.htm is the text "standing right next to them". This to me is ambiguous; I'd interpret it as one avenue or street away from the beeper, but I guess you have in mind the intersection ocupied by the beeper. I suggest rewording this to remove the ambiguity.
