Oh dear. You want all help to be in public so much that you will reply to a private email by taking it back to the list. Then you probably should have left in the part where I gave you step by step instructions on how to set Thunderbird up to Reply to All.
I do think it is considered rude to publicly post something that was sent privately with an explicit [OFFLIST] tag in the subject line.
