A shame (the word is too weak, but english is a foreign language for me so I need to be prudent ;-), have a look at the book yourself and tell me what proper qualifier matches that horror); even more since it uses python and pretends to introduce to this language. I guess the only thing to do is to spread the word "do NOT even have a look at 'dive into python'" to everybody wishing to learn about programming and/or python. Sorry for such bad words, but I think some things cannot be left unsaid.
