Yes I found these software implementations around 2 years ago thinking we could use that for tux but I didn't know anything about USB at that time (still don't know much but have a better feeling). There was the Igor version and a C version ongoing which is probably the current AVR-USB. They improved the website though :-) We finally choosed the AT89C5130 as it was cheap and could support USB in hardware. But now there are a few cheap USB AVR recently released (AT90USB82 AT90USB162) which look interesting.
